Firstly to begin adding a condition, create a new or edit an existing conversation. Once viewing the conversation you can drag and drop a condition from the right side menu. Once the condition is dropped into a suitable place on the timeline you will be presented with the type of condition you their wish to ask in a menu on the right side of your screen.
Now select, 'Date and time' from the menu. You should now see the fields and options possible to fill in for this condition type.
To apply this setting, firstly set whether you want to add a Date and Time or only a Time to base the condition on, you can do this by clicking on the Select option dropdown box. Both the options are explained below;
Adding date/time condition option: This option allows you to set an exact date and a given time on that date when you wish the following questions beneath the condition to be asked.
Adding a time only condition option: This option allows you to set a time (every day) when you wish the following questions beneath the condition to be asked.
Next make sure that the dropdown box on the left of the input field containing the exact date/time is selected to either 'After' or 'Until'.
Adding 'after' date/time condition
Similar to the delay condition but with a set date and time rather than a fixed amount of time. In the input field next to where you selected 'After', you can type in the exact Time and/or Date you want the elements (question, messages and other conditions) below this condition to be received by your respondents after.
Adding 'until' date/time condition
Similar to the time out setting within the individual question settings but allows you to 'time out' any elements (question, messages and other conditions) below this condition. In the input field next to where you selected 'Until', you can type in the exact Time and/or Date you want the elements below this condition to be received by your respondents until.
If you want add an exact time constraint of when the following questions can be answered, add an 'After' condition and an 'Until' condition together, creating a time range (as seen below). This can be done for both date/time, and time only condition option types.
Once these fields and options are all completed, press the pink 'Save' button at the bottom of this menu. This will add your condition into the place within the timeline where you dragged and dropped it to and affect the elements (questions, messages and other conditions) below it.
