At Upinion we use certain words that are handy for you to know and understand. Here are the most common ones:

Conversation
A conversation is a chat, that has a topic/title and includes one or more questions that are send in return for answers. You might be used to words like survey or questionnaire. We use conversation because you can keep adding questions if you like.
Discount Reward
Respondents can can earn points in return for a discount by answering questions and redeeming their points for vouchers, they can hand in at a website or physical address of group owner or reward owner to get a discount.
Free Product Reward
Respondents can earn points in return for a free product by answering questions and redeeming there points for vouchers, they can hand in at a website or physical address of group owner or reward owner to get a free product.
Group
One or more respondents can take part in your group. In your industry you might refer to a group as panel, team, focus group or something else.
Group code
The code you have to enter in Upinion to become part of a group.
Group owner
The company, entity, account holder or person who created and owns the group. Sometimes also referred to as group administrator.
Invitation / Invite
A means / message to someone to become a respondent and take part in a group.ย
Love Reward
Thank you message to respondents in your group. You define the purpose of your research and thank them warmly. They do not get points for answers given in a group that is connected to a love reward.

Private Group
A group which is exclusive. By default, respondents will not be invited by Upinion to join other groups.
Public Group
A group which is not exclusive. Respondents can be invited by Upinion to join other Groups. Your Groups being Public does not mean others have access to your group or the research you do.
Notification
Notifications on Upinion are to remind you that you received question(s), an invite for a group or a new reward. You can find the notifications in the start menu at the bottom of the mobile app.
Voucher / Ticket
After respondents redeem their points they receive a voucher / ticket in the app. This voucher / ticket has a unique number. respondents can use this unique number to collect their reward from the group owner or reward owner.
