You can add your respondent data when creating or after creating your reward.

Creating a reward

In the final stages of creating a reward you can add the data you require from your respondents.

After creating a reward

At the bottom of the info tab of a reward where you are the owner, you can manage the data you require from your respondents.
Note: it is possible to add respondent data to a reward which previously didn't have required data.

Next, to add required respondent data, click the 'Add Data' button in the 'respondent data' section. Select the type of data you wish to request from the overlay list (seen below) - details of each data type can be found further into this article. Clicking all types will add them to your respondent data list (seen in the image above).

Current data types;

Name: Simply ask for the name, where the respondent can enter text data.
Email: Ask for the respondent's email, the respondent has to enter a valid email address.
Verify account: The respondent must register in order to connect, if they aren't, they have the chance to register when claiming the reward (or joining the connected group). This can be useful if you don't want any unregistered respondents subscribed to your reward.
Advertising ID: Request the unique ID of the respondents mobile phone provided by Apple or Google. More information can be found here.
Custom field: Allows to build your own input field from scratch which can be set with 3 different accepted types; Text, Email and Numeric. Setting these types will restrict what respondents can enter as data. This customisation can be seen in the image below.

You have options to provide information to the respondent when editing or adding a custom field. This is demonstrated in the left section of the image above. The right section demonstrates exactly how the respondent will be presented with the information you enter. Listed below are all of the possible information fields and their purposes;

Label: This is the text that will appear as the title of the field from the respondent (e.g. Your Name). This will also be the text that identifies each data type you requested in the reward info tab.
Error message: This is the text that will appear if the respondent doesn't match the correct validation for the given field (e.g. please enter a valid email address).
Type: This option is only editable on custom fields and can be one of three choices; Text, Email or Numeric.
Help text: The text entered here will be shown as a smaller text beneath the field to describe the purpose of the field or the reason for requesting the data (e.g. your client reference number from your company so you can connect the respondent).
Place holder: Text entered here will appear in the input field when it is empty (e.g. enter your email here).

Note: not all information fields will be available for every data type.

Information for your respondents

In the previous section, it displayed how the respondent is approached to provide their data. It is also possible for them to view, edit or revoke them at any point.

They can do this by going to the setting page of the app from the main menu and locating your reward. After clicking on your reward in the settings page, they can view, edit and revoke access to the data they provided.

When a respondent revokes their data to your reward, they can still view the reward information within their application but can no longer earn points toward it or redeem anymore vouchers or tickets.

Additional options

By default, the respondents are asked for their data when they redeem a voucher/ticket for the reward, it is possible to require their data when joining a group connected to the reward (see image below). To do this, simply check the box next to 'ask when respondent joins the group'.
